We upgraded some equipment today. Almost everyone should have not seen any trouble. However, if your internet service is going up and down today, the solution is a simple power cycle (unplug for approx 30 seconds and then plug back in). This should resolve the issue. If not, please contact our Tech Support. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
We wanted to pass along the obituary for Richard Roundhouse who passed last week. He was the Grandfather of one of our AWESOME techs, Randy. He lived an amazing life including serving in WWII and serving for 70 years with the Bloomingdale Fire Department. I have heard from many many people talk about his impact on the community and his impact in people's lives.
It's been quite some time since any major maintenance was done on the Kal-Haven trail and it has held up rather well over the years because it was done right the first time. But in the future, the DNR will resurface large sections of the trail as part of keeping the State Park in good shape.
DNR currently plans to resurface the trail from Bloomingdale to South Haven and as we understand, funding for the engineering portion of that plan has been secured.
Last Thursday at the educational event hosted by the City of South Haven and again on Friday morning at the inaugural Great Lake to Lake Ride, the issue of resurfacing came up and there are a lot of different opinions regarding how that should happen and what changes, if any, should take place.
I trust the DNR to make the right choice here but I'm also curious what your views on the matter are. You're the ones using the trail so your input helps.
I just want to remind respondents that this is not a poll or a popularity contest. It's just to gather information. But if you take a position you do have an obligation to explain it in some detail.
